Terex has launched a new brand for its quarrying portfolio to improve its high-volume crushing operations.
MAGNA is the latest Terex brand to enter the market with a specific focus on large-scale operations in the crushing, mining, construction, and recycling industries.
“While we have a prominent position in the global market for compact and mid-sized materials processing equipment, MAGNA will position us to serve customers requiring higher output machines,” Terex Aggregates vice president Patrick Brian said.
“With an ambitious product roadmap and supported by Terex-wide engineering, manufacturing, marketing, parts, and service capabilities, MAGNA will provide significant growth potential for Terex.”
According to the company, MAGNA products will be part of Terex’s global network of distributors.
The MAGNA portfolio will include a range of equipment from crushing to screening to conveying and gensets.
Neil McIlwaine will be the MAGNA brand’s key personnel as business line director. McIlwaine has 19 years of industry experience working with construction equipment. In his new role, McIlwaine will be responsible for MAGNA’s commercial, financial, sales, marketing and product development.
