Jaw crushers serve as the primary crushing equipment for various minerals and rocks. Specifically, they handle a broad range of ores and rocks with a compressive strength of up to 320 MPa, converting them into medium-sized particles in a single operation. In practice, industries often pair jaw crushers with cone crushers, impact crushers, and sand making machines to form complete sand and gravel production lines. Working Principle:
Jaw crushers mainly include a frame, an eccentric shaft, a large pulley, a flywheel, side guards, a toggle plate, a toggle plate seat, a gap-adjusting screw, a reset spring, a fixed jaw plate, and a movable jaw plate. Jaw crushers use a curved compression crushing method. During operation, the motor drives the belt and pulley. These then drive the eccentric shaft. The eccentric shaft moves the movable jaw up and down. When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw widens. This pushes the movable jaw plate toward the fixed jaw plate. The material is crushed repeatedly between the two jaw plates. It is pressed, ground, and rolled. When the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw narrows. The pull rod and spring act on the movable jaw plate. The movable jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate. The crushed material falls freely. It goes through the outlet at the bottom of the crushing chamber. Gravity causes this fall. The motor rotates continuously. The movable jaw performs periodic crushing and discharging. This enables mass production.

When the device operates, materials exceeding its crushing capacity may enter the machine. These materials can negatively affect the device’s operation and may even damage it. In such cases, the toggle plate will break on its own to protect the device from damage.
First, the gasket-type discharge adjustment device and centralized lubrication system help operators operate and maintain the machine easily.Additionally, the jaw plate has a symmetrical structure—this design specifically lets operators reverse it for continued use after wear.This reversal, in turn, extends the jaw plate’s service life and reduces replacement costs.
